Our organization is looking to help PPS/PIL with coach recruiting.

There are currently only 2 coaches of ours starting the clearance process, and PPS is in need of at least 1 additional coach to form a single team for each grade (6th-8th), or 4 coaches to form the usual 2 teams per grade. Please indicate your coaching interest, or send us referrals, by emailing us as soon as possible:

(Includes $200 PIL Fee + $75 CB Fee)

  • 2 weekly practices

    • Mon/Wed

    • Thursday night & some Saturdays

    • approximately 12 games

  • 2 local tournaments

  • 12 players MAX

  • CB Administrative costs

  • Contribution towards End of Year pizza party for each team

    • Coaches are needed to form the 6th-8th grade teams!

    • These are PPS PAID positions & require district clearance. Please indicate interest by emailing us. Team tryouts will not occur without coaches in place.

PIL teams are sponsored and supported financially by PPS, making the cost to play more affordable and accessible for most families. The league’s individual participation fee is $200, Cleveland Basketball program fee is $75, making the total cost of participation $275

The $75 fee supports all costs incurred by our program in facilitating PIL teams for PPS. Expenses such as recruiting and reimbursing coaches for all clearance costs, including training certifications and fingerprinting, administrative costs, such as website, insurance, communication, marketing, and end of season celebrations for all PIL teams.

Without the additional CB fee our own program, would no longer be able to offer our support in facilitating PIL teams.

Cleveland Basketball is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving the basketball community, in the Cleveland cluster, year round since 2007. Your continued support is greatly appreciated!
