During the Winter basketball season, the Cleveland Boys Youth Program coordinates 3rd-5th Grade recreational boys teams that play in the Portland Parks & REC Goldenball League.

Winter Warriors 2026-27 Recreational Teams play in the Goldenball League of Portland. The Cleveland Youth Basketball program coordinates 3rd-7th grade boys teams.

DETAILS:

  • Volunteer parent coaches are needed for each team. If you are able to coach or assist with your players team, please mark “yes” on your players registration form and complete PPR coach clearance requirements. Email us with questions or more information about coaching info@cleveland-warriors.com .

  • Teams are organized by grade level and on a first come, first serve basis. We will do our very best to accommodate teammate/coach requests however requests are not guaranteed, due to limited capacity per team.

  • League Games are played on Saturdays. January 16th-March 6th. Games locations will vary at Portland public schools and community centers.

  • Practice day/time/location TBD. Coaches will set practice schedule.

  • Cost is $155 per player. *If cost is an obstacle, please reach out for assistance info@cleveland-warriors.com . Ability to pay does not determine ability to play!

  • Space is limited! When team grade levels reach capacity, a waitlist will be available until registration is officially closed.

  • Cleveland Youth Basketball is a volunteer driven, 501c3 non profit organization, serving youth within the Cleveland cluster. CYB is NOT supported financially, organized by or sustained by PPS/PIL organizations.

CYB is a volunteer driven community program, working closely with and in support of the Cleveland High School Boys Basketball Program. Player participation is never based on a persons ability to pay.
